OTTO Workshop with Toyooka City

  • In February 2021, Toyooka City and FabLab Nishiharima jointly held an online workshop titled “Assembling Otto and Programming with Otto Blockly.” Around 13 children, ranging from 3rd grade elementary school students to 2nd year junior high school students, participated and enjoyed learning. At the end of the session, each participant decorated their own Otto robot, resulting in a colorful collection of Ottos. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all planning and coordination meetings were conducted online. Thanks to the cooperative efforts of the staff from Toyooka City and FabLab Nishiharima, we were able to identify potential issues and prepare effective solutions in advance. We are truly grateful to the staff of Toyooka City for their smooth and generous support throughout the process.
