Purpose
At FabLab West-Harima, since around 2020, we have been continuously improving parts of the open-source OTTO DIY robot that are difficult to assemble, in preparation for hosting workshops using it.

What is Otto DIY?
Otto DIY is an open-source robot. It can be assembled in a few hours using only a screwdriver, without the need for any special tools. Programming can be done using block-based editors, making it an ideal teaching material for beginners learning to code. It’s packed with hands-on elements—from assembling mechanical and electronic components to controlling the robot through programming.
